Do not force early DoT refreshes to move though. Dia is instant cast, so you can use your natural DoT refreshes to freely move during mechanics or to preposition yourself.Between the slidecast window and the ~1sīetween Glare III casts, you can be quite mobile all the time and easily preposition for most mechanics. The exact timing depends on your ping, but it generally starts about 0.5s before the cast bar is finished. The slidecast window in FFXIV is quite large compared to other MMOs. "Slidecasting" involves moving before a cast has completed without interrupting the cast.Extended movement is the enemy of uptime, but you have several tools to deal with these. Lily heals can now be used fairly freely and overcapping lilies should typically be avoided.Ī large majority of the damage you do is simply based on GCD uptime, maximizing the amount of time you spend using Single target, although using Misery in buffs makes it a damage gain to use lilies isntead. Note: As of 6.1 using Afflatus Rapture or Afflatus Solace to buildĪfflatus Misery is now equal damage to spamming Glare III on Use Dia for movement outside its natural refresh if you do not have Lilies or Swiftcast.Have time to cast Glare III and do not have Swiftcast or are holding it for additional movement. Use Afflatus Rapture or Afflatus Solace for movement if you do not.Use Glare III whenever you have time to cast it and do not need to GCD heal.Use Lucid Dreaming on cooldown below 8000 MP to maintain MP.Use Afflatus Rapture or Afflatus Solace to prevent overcapping blue lilies, or for healing or movement.Use Afflatus Misery in raid buffs, for movement, or before using additional Lily heals to prevent overcapping red lilies (see note below).Maintain Dia on the boss as long as the boss will be active for at least 15s.Use Assize on cooldown after the opener.Use Presence of Mind on cooldown or with the rest of your raid buffs after the opener. So when you’re trying something new – go for the 1 collect. The goal is you want AS MANY ITEMS as you can with the MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE COLLECTABILITY. If you fail with the 1 collect – you’re undergeared. These four basic rotations will help you gather almost any collectible. So these rotations are really there to help those who are a little more confused. Use food, cheaply meld gear… just find a way! These rotations DO NOT USE SINGLE MIND (For low level friendliness), but you’ll be more experienced by then anyway. If you’re a newer player, strive to get 600 GP somehow. I personally didn’t see the need more than 600 GP in the road to 60~. If you have extra GP, use a Field Mastery. Gathering Rotations used WHILE Leveling (Based on 600 GP) !!VERY IMPORTANT!! >400 Appraisal Potency 3 CollectĪt 570~ Perception you can easily 3 gather the high grade scrip unspoileds. Maximum Appraisal Potency for 600 GP 1 Collect I’ll post those once I know more of what we need to reach, and how much GP people have on average. But that’s for the minute few that have the 700++ GP for it. Since this is as good as it gets for 1 Collect 600 GP! Yes I do realize you can go much higher. I’ll just copy the “1 collect” rotation from below. I did not note the min perception needed but please mention your results. The above rotation seems damn good for me! While it requires brainpower, the eventual time saved is definitely something. IF PROC, Single Mind, NO PROC? Discerning Eye.Thanks to my FCmate Tiffany Faye for this! This rotation can get at least 2, and up to 4!!!! 470 collectible items! Here’s the basic rotation Navigation: End-game Gathering Rotations | Leveling up Rotations Red scrip (470 collectability) Rotation (variable collects) TLDR: Gathering rotations for scrip farming & Collectibles!!! I personally had more than 600 GP, but it’s very unrealistic to make a rotation for LEVELING UP with 650+ GP, since not everyone had a pimped out Foragers Set. (Yes I know there’s a current BiS… but how long will that last? Will keep an eye out for the recipe unlocks come Alexander). It’s no use discussing the “real” end-game collectability gathering rotations since we have no idea what numbers we’re reaching for, and how much GP we will actually have. Basically I’ll be listing down the rotations I used WHILE LEVELING UP.
